Casual Friday & Silver Jeans Giveaway

I am all about capes right now. The weather in Vancouver is chilly; but not 'need-my-east-coast-winter-parka' kind of chilly, so I find myself reaching for capes quite often. I also love these Silver Jeans. They are my first ever pair from this brand, and I love the high waisted fit! After a long day in Court yesterday, I am very glad to be having a casual friday.

A couple of things to tell you all on this lovely Friday:

1) These photos were taken by the ah-mazing Allyson - a local BC photographer. She is a true beauty (inside & out) and such a local talent! Check her out if you need photos done! Her website again is here.

Grey Days & A Giveaway Announcement

I love combining different shades of the same color. It's an easy way to create a polished looking outfit, and is great for when you are lacking in outfit inspiration. Pair up a shirt/vest, or blouse/sweater in the same color family for an easy outfit. I have seen a lot of 'sleeveless coats' lately; but this one is a fav. I love the draped structure. Also- these boots!! I had been looking for months for a pair of OTK boots when I came across these for under $50. I was sold by the gold detailing!

I had such an amazing weekend. I went to a 90s dance party, spent a night with friends having a delicious homemade dinner and watching movies, and went to a Holiday tea event. Bring it on Monday!
