Style Inspiration: Spencer from "Pretty Little Liars"

Today I am bringing you another installment in my "style inspiration" series. With this series I re-create work appropriate looks worn by celebrities/ characters. Be sure to check out my earlier posts on Anne Hathaway & Amal Clooney if you missed them!

So I have to admit to you all that one of my biggest guilty pleasures is the TV show Pretty Little Liars. I know, i know, it's the epitome of a teenage drama, but it's just. so. addictive. The fact that all 4 main characters have unique styles with amazing wardrobes doesn't hurt either!

I've really loved Spencer's style- especially in the most recent season. The character of Spencer does work chic so well. When I first saw this casual look I knew i needed to recreate it!

I didn't have the exact peach cardigan - but I really loved the depth that the black trim brought to the look. So, I went with a blouse with black trim to re-create a similar effect.

How do you think I did?! Do you like this look for work? And, most importantly, am I the only young professional who watches pretty little liars?! Let me know in the comments below. The remaining outfit pictures (and outfit details) are below.

Style Inspiration: Anne Hathaway as "Jules" in The Intern

I am so excited to be announcing a new series on the blog today! Every few weeks I will be doing a "Style Inspiration" post in which I showcase a celebrity work appropriate outfit and my version of that outfit (with links of where to get the items of course!)

I wanted to start with this outfit from "The Intern". Have you seen the movie?! I actually really liked the movie (super cute) but more importantly I loved the fashion. Anne Hathaway's Character is Jules - the founder of an e-commerce fashion start-up. (Essentially it is a movie version of Sophia Amoruso's life). As such, the outfits are incredible. This was one of my favorite casual, but still chic, work looks. I love the layering and the unexpected pop of blue.

I hope you guys like this new Style Inspiration series! I am excited to bring you outfits similar to some of the best celebrity work looks- but without the celebrity price tag.

I hope you all had a great weekend and are heading in to your Monday ready to take on the work week. I will see you all back here on Wednesday!

Ps. photos are by the incredible AllyFotografy. You have to check out her work and hire her if you are in the Vancouver area. She is the sweetest eva (in addition to her mad photography skills)
