The combination of ruffles & pleats is so feminine; I cannot stop wearing this effortless spring work look! This dark green skirt is such a pretty color and it works so well paired with crisp white & rose gold!

The weather here has been so beautiful lately; perfect for wearing midi skirts to work. While I am primarily a pants girl (you may have noticed my love for skinny work pants here, here & here haha) it is nice to add something different to my work wardrobe. Do you wear midi skirts to work?

Must Have Midi Skirt & a Giveaway!

I have been so eagerly waiting for the weather to get nice enough to wear this beautiful skirt. I finally got to wear it last week for a coffee date with a friend, and I received so many compliments on it!

It's a perfect multi-tasking wardrobe item. It can be worn to work or as a casual look. Worn with a basic white button down, like my look here, and it's perfect for a spring or summer work day. For a more casual look try it with a navy & white striped cotton tee and some white sneakers.

We are in full-on spring/summer here in Vancouver. It was 21 degrees Celsius yesterday, and has been incredibly sunny (as you can tell from these photos!) That means you'll be seeing a lot more spring and summer outfit inspiration here on LLB. I am officially in love with bow ties! I have been wanting to branch out and try styling a bow tie for a while now and I am so glad I finally did. 

I decided to counter balance the masculinity of a bow tie by wearing all white and going for a feminine skirt. I got this skirt a couple of weeks ago using EBates. Have you heard of Ebates?! I can't believe it took me this long to get on the Ebates bandwagon.

Happy Friday, everyone! It's Amanda from Enchanting Elegance, a fashion and lifestyle blog where women can come to be inspired on creating their own personal style. Now a little bit about this polka dot ensemble. I love to add a bit of whimsy to all of my outfits whether is be a fun print, a bit of sparkle, or my all time favorite fabric of tulle, my goal is to have fun with my looks in an enchanting and romantic way. The classic color combo of red, black, and white is one that will always be in style and deliver a dose of sophistication. The bold polka dots make this outfit stand out and gives it a retro vibe. Who doesn't love a good twirl too?!

Leopard print is a fall staple; but I like introducing it into my late summer wardrobe as well, combined with cream. A bow blouse is also a perfect work top!

There is so much going on that I want to tell you about today! Of course, I needed a bright and fun summer outfit to match my excitement about all of the things going on, so I went with my favorite bright yellow midi skirt. I love wearing this paired with a simple shirt and lots of sparkle! Okay, on to the things to tell you about:

This is one of my favourite spring outfits. I love midi skirts (I know, I know, you guys definitely know that already! haha) and I am really liking the crop top trend that shows just the tiniest sliver of stomach. This striped top is a favourite to pair with any bright skirt. I feel more comfortable, personally, having my stomach showing when more is covered up top (high neck, long sleeves) so this top is a go-to for me.
