Happy Wednesday! I have been living in simple 'on the go' beach wear lately and this week's wants totally reflect that. I have never had a bikini pouch until this year (ie. a small clutch made of scuba material to hold your wet bikini so it doesn't soak everything else in your tote bag) and now I am obsessed with them! The sunglasses and stripes one above is definitely on my list to get!

To all my Canadian readers- HAPPY CANADA DAY! Hope you are celebrating with cold drinks and yummy bbq'd food! I am still in full-on move in mode (this move is taking a lot longer than expected) but luckily I had my parents here until yesterday and now I have my best friend in from Ontario! I'm hoping to finish up the last of the move in type stuff this morning so that I can show her around Vancouver (she's a first timer!) Hitting up the beach is definitely on our list!

This striped romper has been such a staple for me these past few weeks. Since i have been spending so much time at the beach lately, this has become a go to outfit as it is easy to throw on top of a bathing suit and looked 'polished' enough to go run post-beach errands! Rompers are great for busy summer days, and I definitely recommend having a couple in your closet.

Hope you all had a great weekend! This was my last weekend in my current apartment (before moving to my new condo!) so I tried to make the most of the area I live in / enjoy the area around my apartment!

A simple white dress or romper is a closet essential in my books. All summer long you can reach for this item and have an "instant outfit". I loved pairing this white romper with pastels for a soft spring look.

This week was utter madness with tons of work chaos AND I bought an apartment!!!! Craziness. The deal doesn't officially close until June 23rd but it is an accepted offer so hopefully everything runs smoothly from here on out. 

This weekend for me is going to be full of meetings with the home inspector, the real estate agent, and my real estate lawyer. I am beyond excited to get going on this and start day dreaming about decorating the apartment!! Once I actually move in at the end of next month I will definitely be sharing pictures on the blog and on instagram. Have a great weekend everyone, and I'll see you back here on Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! We had a gorgeous weekend here in Vancouver and I was SO excited to actually have my bare legs out getting some sun (I am so pale it hurts). While I love all the bold florals and crazy bright colours of spring fashion, I often like to mix it up with pale grey. The colour works so well for spring, especially paired with pale pink (see my office look in this colour scheme here )

The polka dots on this romper really jumped out at me, and at under $35 dollars, I just had to grab it! Rompers are an easy "one-and-done" type outfit. Perfect for when you just want to get your butt out the door and into the sun!

Today I have actually got the day off (working night court tonight) and I'm so excited to spend more time in the sun!
