I wanted to share with you all my take on a classic work look. For me, classic means trouser fit pants, a white blouse, and a functional work bag. All of which this outfit has!

I love the lace detailing on this top as it adds a touch of style to the classic office outfit. Also, you guys, i FINALLY caved and got this handbag that I have been eyeing for over a year. It is the perfect lawyer bag - it fits legal size paper (such a win) and has a zipper laptop compartment. This handbag is my new love haha. Finally, to keep the classic outfit fresh, I added rose gold accents, via my shoes & my jewelry.

How gorgeous are these Olive & Piper earrings?! I received them a few weeks ago and have been waiting for the perfect outfit to let these shine. The rose gold color is perfect for fall and the sleek shape has a very modern-chic feel that is great to pair with office outfits. I have actually had multiple court clerks ask me as soon as we have gone off-record in Court where my beautiful jewelry is from - and my answer is always Olive & Piper. Wednesday Wants: Summer Pencil Skirts Under $150

I have been craving pencil skirts a lot lately. I have spent countless hours online window-shopping for great summer skirts. I realized, I should probably share with you a round-up of my best finds! These skirts are all office appropriate but still feel fun & fresh for summer.

In completely other random news - I saw Finding Dory a few days ago. It was SO good. I thought I would feel pretty ridiculous going to a kids movie with my group of 20-something year old friends, but I was shocked that the entire theatre was packed with adults haha. I highly recommend checking it out! All I'll say is that the darn sea shell "paths" shot (you'll see what I mean if you watch it) had me tearing up! If you've seen it; please tell me you teared up too. #SuchaSap

To my LLB "regulars": I won't be posting this Friday as I will be taking the day off for Canada Day. I'm actually going on a 3 day camping trip and could not be more excited to relax by a lake & hang out by a campfire. I will be back on Monday July 4th with a summer outfit you won't want to miss! I know, I know, I have an obsession with white dresses haha. I've shown so many on the blog lately, but I love that each one "feels" so different totally based on the different accessories. I love the classic combination of white and blue and based this outfit off that... with a pop of floral to brighten it up.

It was such a great weekend here in Vancouver. I spent so much time just walking around enjoying the sunshine! I also wandered into a boutique furniture/home decor place and finally found a couch for my new apartment! Slowly but surely I am getting ready for my big move at the end of this month.

Lately I seem to be gravitating towards all white looks.. be that a romper, a maxi, or this off the shoulder mini dress. I think what I am drawn to is the "blank slate" that it gives you. As you can see from my previous posts, yes the base of the outfit is a white item, but each outfit looks so different and has such a different feel.

This off the shoulder lace dress screamed "tropical" too me (all I could think about was wanting to be in Mexico with a daquiri in hand haha) so I paired it with bright colour accents in the form of the tropical print clutch and crazy bold lipstick.

Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was jam packed, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world. I got to briefly see my niece & nephew for some snuggle time, go to a friend's housewarming/BBQ, and yesterday I, along with two of my friends, organized a charity hike! We raised enough money to send FIVE girls to school for a year with the organization One Girl. I couldn't be happier :) Now on to the work week. Bring it Monday!

Happy April everyone! In my family, April is just sheer insanity. My birthday is next week (April 7th) and my grandma's is the same day. My mom's is April 10th, my brother's is the 14th and my aunt's is the 16th. My sister in law is also due to have a baby any day now (yay!) so it looks like we'll have another Aries in the fam!

Despite how hectic April is, I am seriously excited for it. I am having a birthday party this coming week, maybe going to Portland for a few days this month and definitely heading home to Ontario for a week. This on top of a ton of great stuff at work and a couple of dance peformances. Looks like it's going to be a good month!
