Wednesday Wants: Bold & Bright Work Wear

I'm going to blame this week's love of all things bright and bold on cinco de mayo being right around the corner. I have been loving bright bold choices for spring & summer work wear. This week's "Wednesday Wants" are some of my favorite colorful items of clothing (and shoes & handbags of course!) that are still work appropriate.

The pink and orange color block pencil skirt is definitely at the top of my wish list for summer work wear. It would be so easy to style with a white button down and nude pumps for fun summer work day look.

Back to speaking about cinco de mayo; do you all have fun plans!? I'm hoping the weather here will be nice & sunny so some friends and I can have margaritas on a patio after work. *fingers crossed*. Whatever you have on for this week (margarita related or non haha) I hope you have a great one.

There is so much going on that I want to tell you about today! Of course, I needed a bright and fun summer outfit to match my excitement about all of the things going on, so I went with my favorite bright yellow midi skirt. I love wearing this paired with a simple shirt and lots of sparkle! Okay, on to the things to tell you about:

1) Nobis & Grey discount!

I have teamed up with N&G, the maker of the gorgeous jewelry you see in this photo, to offer you a 30% discount on all of their jewelry with the code below!

2) Jeans for Genes

Today I am so pleased to be linking up with The Sydney Fashion Hunter to rock some denim in support of a great cause- Jeans for Genes. Jeans for Genes is a campaign of the Children's Medical Research Institute in Australia. Today, Friday August 7th, supporters will rock their favourite denim looks in an effort to fundraise and support research into genetic disorders affecting children. It is a great cause, and I highly urge you to check them out! There is also an American version which you can read about here.

If you are stopping by from Sydney fashion hunter- WELCOME! I hope you like my denim look and would love to get to know you new readers- feel free to introduce yourself in the comments below! You can also follow along with me on instagram and bloglovin if you want to stay in touch!

I encourage you all to check out Sydney Fashion Hunter's website to see a bunch of us fashion bloggers' denim looks in support of this cause. You can see the full post behind my look, here.

Today I wanted to show you one of my favourite early spring looks. The jacket is great for the cant-make-it's-mind-up weather and I love navy and yellow as an outfit combination.

I hope you all had a great weekend and are rested / re-charged for the week ahead. As you know, I am in Ontario visiting my parents this week and it has been great so far. I've spent time with my best friend (laughing our asses off about the stupidest things) spent a morning taking my god daughters to dance, and last night went to my good friend Ryan and Steph's for an really delicious home made dinner. It's been an exhausting trip so far, but I am completely happy with that.

Thank you all for stopping by. Have a great Monday!
