I am so in love with this bow back top. The detailing on the back is so cute and it is one of the comfiest tops I own! When I received it the bow was a bit "floppy" so I used double sided tape to stick it to the shirt and it worked perfectly. For only $16 though, I'm counting this top as a win!

Have I told you guys that I used to be a hardcore ballet dancer? I trained for years (and still dance for fun). This top just screamed "ballerina" to me, so I chose to pair it with the BEST (most comfortable) stretchy denim leggings and my lace up ballet flats for a full on ballerina vibe.

I have a busy weekend ahead and will probably wear this outfit at least once haha. I am so excited to be grabbing drinks tonight with a fashion blogger friend (follow on instagram to see who!) Tomorrow I have one of my closest friend's birthday celebrations, and Sunday I will be attending a red carpet event for Vancouver International Film Festival. It's going to be a whirlwind! Happy Monday everyone! Last Monday I posted this summer work look and, as promised, here is a summer work look 2. I wanted to show a different way to style the same shirt and the same pants (in a different colour - yes, I have the pants in 4 colours, they are the GREATEST pants of all time). I wanted to show you how versatile your work looks can be even when your base is just dress pants and a basic blouse. I absolutely love this look for work! 

Also, I just bought this YSL lipstick this weekend and my. gosh. it is so awesome. I would say it is now tied with my NARS one I am constantly professing my love for. The colour is pretty but the best part is how silky and moisturizing the lipstick is!
