Wednesday Wants: Summer Pencil Skirts Under $150

I have been craving pencil skirts a lot lately. I have spent countless hours online window-shopping for great summer skirts. I realized, I should probably share with you a round-up of my best finds! These skirts are all office appropriate but still feel fun & fresh for summer.

In completely other random news - I saw Finding Dory a few days ago. It was SO good. I thought I would feel pretty ridiculous going to a kids movie with my group of 20-something year old friends, but I was shocked that the entire theatre was packed with adults haha. I highly recommend checking it out! All I'll say is that the darn sea shell "paths" shot (you'll see what I mean if you watch it) had me tearing up! If you've seen it; please tell me you teared up too. #SuchaSap

To my LLB "regulars": I won't be posting this Friday as I will be taking the day off for Canada Day. I'm actually going on a 3 day camping trip and could not be more excited to relax by a lake & hang out by a campfire. I will be back on Monday July 4th with a summer outfit you won't want to miss! Continuing on my trend of Wednesday Wants being dedicated to spring items, this week I've got my favourite dresses and skirts. I especially love the long sleeve dress. The sleeves will keep you warm while there is still a bit of chill in the spring air! I also really love the loose fit that is a popular trend this spring. It's chic but effortless - always a win in my books!

I have had a ridiculous couple of days. Saturday was so great - I am an assistant choreographer for the BC Summer Games and Saturday we got to teach the beginning bit of choreography to the dancers. It was so much fun and the kids are so talented. Monday though... not so much.

On Monday I somehow managed to hit my eye on my filing cabinet while picking up a sock off the ground, leaving me with a black eye! It was actually the most ridiculous injury - I am such a klutz! And today I am actually shooting my outfit photos for Friday's post.. so stay tuned on Friday to see how well I did at covering up the bruising haha. :S

It's not every season in fashion that we have so many trends for just one particular clothing item. This fall is the exception to that. There are a number of trends for Fall/Winter 2015 for skirts. I picked the above 9 skirts as they are my favourites that match this season's trends. The biggest trends for skirts this season- and styles you should definitely try out - are:

I can't believe tomorrow is already October! I could not be more excited- October is definitely my favourite month. Tonight I plan on making an "October To Do List" (I am so type A it is scary haha). There are so many fun things to do that I want to make sure I don't forget anything! So far at the top of my list are going apple picking with my goddaughters, baking apple and pumpkin pies, and celebrating two of my closest friends birthdays.
