I cannot get enough of these Kate Spade floral heels. I have worn them to court quite a few times in the past few weeks and people compliment them every single time! If you work in an environment where you are more restricted as to what you can wear (ie. the land of black suits lol) shoes are a great way to add some personal style to your outfit.

I also love adding a bold handbag to my work outfits whenever I can. This pink Michael Kors is actually my mother's, but luckily she lets me borrow it! My mom has incredible style (you can see posts from her here & here if you missed them!)

In other news, I am trying out a spin cycle class after work tonight with a friend. It is a new instructor at a new studio here in Vancouver, so I am a bit nervous but looking forward to a good workout. I've only ever done spin class once before, so hopefully it isn't too intense! I'm trying to expand my workouts lately and try new things- other than just dancing & running. What workouts do you all like? Any recommendations for things I should try? Let me know!

Wednesday Wants: Work Appropriate Prints

I think too many young professionals shy away from prints when it comes to choosing items to wear to work. Prints can be challenging, for sure, but done correctly they can look great in your wear to work wardrobe! I particularly like adding prints in my accessories - my shoes & handbags.

These are my favorite "printed items" available right now. What I like about all of the items here is that they easily mix into your existing wardrobe. The dresses are stand alone pieces, while the shoes, handbag & skirt pair easily with work wear basics.

I've had a really fun week so far- and I have definitely indulged in some shopping! For non-work days I picked up a pair of denim short overalls and oh-my-gosh I never want to take them off. They are so comfortable and super nostalgia inducing. Pretty sure the last time I wore overalls I was 9 haha. You can see a pic of the overalls on my instagram if you want to check them out! I Hope your work week is going well so far!

Spring Florals & a Polette Giveaway

I've been a huge fan of Polette glasses for a long time, (you can read my first review of them here), but these ones take the cake. They are definitely my new favorite accessory! The light gold frames are perfect for spring. Polette is an online optician that offer's designer frames from $6.99-$49.99 with anti-reflective and anti-scratch coated lens options as well.

As you know from last week's post, I love to make my work looks more spring-like with the top I choose to wear. This Kate Spade top is feminine and I love the big floral print. For work I wear this with a blazer on top; but it's great to bare some shoulder (and get some sun!) over the lunch hour.

Today I am giving one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of glasses or sunnies from Polette! Enter below for your chance to win any frames of your choosing (open to US & Canadian residents 18+, for full general details about my rafflecopter giveaways see this post)

Have a great weekend everyone! I've got a fairly low-key weekend planned, unfortunately I have to work a fair bit to get on top of my case load for work next week, but I definitely plan on getting at least a bit of sunshine relaxation in!

Wednesday Wants: Spring Shoes (under $120)

Happy Wednesday readers! The weather here in Vancouver has finally turned to spring (our cherry blossoms are in full bloom!) This, of course, has had me craving spring fashion all week.

For this week's Wednesday Wants I'm rounding up my favorite spring shoes, all under $120. I can't get over how many gorgeous options there are!

Florals are in style every spring (obviously), but I love that this spring bright hues & neutrals will also be very popular. Texture will also be big this spring - look for suedes and silks to be right on trend.

I absolutely love the nude embellished pumps for work - they are perfect to spring-ify your work wardrobe (... and yes, we're pretending that's a word... just go with it). I can't believe they are under $40!

See you all back here on Friday! I've got a bold work outfit I can't wait to share (plus a discount code for some gorgeous stuff!) Follow along on instagram & twitter for an early sneak peak of the outfit and coupon code!

Wednesday Wants

There were SO many items this week that I was absolutely adoring. It was really tough to narrow it down to these choices, but I think these are all great (and affordable!) on-trend summer staples. I just placed an order for the statement necklace and can't wait to pair it with casual tees and white shorts!

Are you guys starting to feel "summer ready" with your accessories and clothes? I am trying to be on a strict budget at the moment, but may have to splurge on those floral heels. I tried them on in store and they are just so pretty!

I love wearing Tulle skirts. They instantly make me reminisce about my years as a ballet dancer while simultaneously making me feel like Carrie in Sex & The City. That, my friends, is an outfit win. I wore this Tulle skirt in a dressier way here, so today I wanted to show you a more casual look for a tulle skirt. I hope you like it!

Did you all have a good weekend? Mine was pretty relaxing - I had a couple dance classes, spent time drinking on patios with my girlfriends and, so exciting,  viewed a couple of condos with my realtor. I am currently looking into buying my first apartment so it's been cool to check out a bunch of unique buildings in my city. I saw the BEST loft with a a built in nook (ie. a secondary loft space only accessible by ladder that is maybe 50 sq feet) which would seriously be a childhood dream come true - who doesn't want a cool hidden nook!!?!? I would fill it with blankets and pillows and just turn it into a spot to cozy up and read a book or enjoy a coffee.
