I was talking to my best friend who lives in Australia and she was telling me about how her office does "casual Monday" instead of casual Friday. The reasoning,as she says, is because on Fridays you want to look sharp for after work drinks! I though that was pretty cool, so today i am embracing 'casual Monday'!

This may be the first time you've seen me in jeans on LLB! This is not because I don't like jeans, but because I haven't found ones that are both flattering and comfortable. Enter these relaxed skinny jeans from Dynamite. I am in love! 
A pair of well-fit, comfortable jeans are an essential in every young professional's "off-duty" wardrobe. If you are still hunting for your perfect pair, definitely give these ones a try!

Grown up Ballerina

I am so in love with this bow back top. The detailing on the back is so cute and it is one of the comfiest tops I own! When I received it the bow was a bit "floppy" so I used double sided tape to stick it to the shirt and it worked perfectly. For only $16 though, I'm counting this top as a win!

Have I told you guys that I used to be a hardcore ballet dancer? I trained for years (and still dance for fun). This top just screamed "ballerina" to me, so I chose to pair it with the BEST (most comfortable) stretchy denim leggings and my lace up ballet flats for a full on ballerina vibe.

I have a busy weekend ahead and will probably wear this outfit at least once haha. I am so excited to be grabbing drinks tonight with a fashion blogger friend (follow on instagram to see who!) Tomorrow I have one of my closest friend's birthday celebrations, and Sunday I will be attending a red carpet event for Vancouver International Film Festival. It's going to be a whirlwind! Fri-yay! It's finally here! My-oh-my that was a long week. I am so excited for the weekend. Tonight I am having a couple colleagues over for drinks and then plan to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing.

This has very quickly become my favourite weekend outfit. I have been showing so many office wear posts lately that I wanted to change it up and show a standard weekend look for me. Faux leather leggings and a tunic always feel put together but so comfortable! I am in love with this Lush tunic! It comes in so many colors (I also have this one) - but heads up, the V does cut really low (just so you are prepared!)

Do you guys have "go to" weekend outfits? What do you wear most on the weekends? (...Tell me someone is with me on this leggings and a tunic trend! haha) Have a great weekend everyone!

 Happy Wednesday! This week I have been on the hunt for comfy fall clothes & accessories. I love the feeling of a loose top with leggings and comfy boots on a fall day. I've also been looking to switch up my makeup routine a bit and definitely want to try out this Anastasia contour kit.

I hope you've all been having a great week so far. I've been pretty much doing nothing but work, but tomorrow night I'm grabbing drinks with some girlfriends on a local patio and could not be more excited to enjoy a relaxing summer night! 

Just a heads up - this week I am changing my schedule up a bit because of a collaboration, so I'll be posting my final post of the week TOMORROW instead of Friday. Excited to show you guys who I'm collaborating with and looking forward to seeing what you think of my first fall outfit post on LLB!
