Have you guys heard of The Urban Umbrella before?! If not, I am so excited to introduce you to it! Bree has mastered the 'everyday style' genre - she wears clothes that everyone can wear and feel great in! She also happens to be the first blogger I met upon moving to Vancouver and she has become such a huge mentor/inspiration to me! (...even though I am *cough* a little *cough* older than her haha)
For our first new years eve post, I wanted to show that you can achieve that classic "ALL THE SPARKLE" look, without breaking the bank! My entire outfit (including my lipstick!) is under $80!!! I love this Forever 21 dress because the sequins are 'typical new years' but the geometric design (rather than a solid glittery dress) gives it a unique twist. I am also OBSESSED with these shoes. They are "look-a-likes" of these amazing Valentino heels... but are practically a thousand dollars less!
What I love most about Bree's look is the crushed velvet on the dress; it is SO festive! I also love that you can pair it with tights for a chic but WARM new years eve look! I hope you guys like Bree and my outfits, and be sure to check back next Friday for part two - we'll show you guys two more kick butt New Years Eve looks!
