For my second NYE outfit (see Bree & My first post here) I wanted to showcase how to dress-up a simple, "not so holiday-esque" dress, into a holiday look. The key to making an old or 'everyday' dress you may have perfect for new years is in selecting an appropriate colour dress and some glitzy accessories. Wine is really in right now (so are emerald, and navy!) and you can pair any of these colours with some glitter shoes for the perfect pop of glitz. I love, love, love these gold glitter pumps from Aldo. They are just the perfect amount of pointed toe and are super comfy!
My favourite thing about Bree's outfit is the contast between the lace dress and lace cut-out clutch. Pattern mixing is such a trend, and this look does it flawlessly!
Once again, if you don't follow Bree from Urban Umbrella, you should definitely get on that! haha. Her style is affordable and accessible. I love it. Her Instagram is here and her fabulous blog is here
