What to Wear Around Valentine's Day - Casual Outfit

I am a sucker for holidays. Easter, Christmas, Valentine's Day... you name it; I love it. I therefore like wearing outfits around each holiday that are in the holiday spirit without being over the top or too obvious. 

Today I wanted to share with you this day time look I have been wearing as Valentine's quickly approaches. I wanted to wear pink on pink to show you that this color combination can be done - and it can be done in a way that is still professional. I love this J Crew Blazer I got last year (and I am definitely eyeing this year's Lilac one as well). 

I recently bought this pale pink sweater, and have been wearing it non-stop. No joke I have worn it four times in the past two weeks (you may have even noticed it in yesterday's instastory!) The white collar and shirt hem you see in these photos are actually faux layers attached to the sweater. I *love* the look of sweaters with button-down shirts underneath, but can't stand the added bulk- so this sweater is perfection for me. I highly, highly recommend this sweater to everyone. It also comes in grey which, let's be honest, I am probably going to go back and get as well haha.

 In other news - I just booked a trip with my best friend!!!! I am SO excited to be heading to New Orleans for 4 days in March. I have never been to New Orleans before, so if you are a NOLA local or if you have visited before, I would *love* to hear your recommendations of things we have to do, places we have to eat and, most importantly, places we need to shop haha.
